Silent Hiking Alta & Lakes Trail: Alone In Sequoia

🌲 Solo Backpacking in Sequoia National Park 🌲

I began the trip in attempt o summit Alta Peak (11,204 ft) on my first solo backpacking trip, but bad weather forced me to turn back to camp at Mehrten Creek. Hiked back to resupply at Wolverton, where I continued on toward Pear Lake and pushed through the challenges of sketchy weather, hiking, camping, and filming alone in the Sierra Nevada.

Even though things didn’t go as planned, the journey taught me a lot about the highs and lows of solo backpacking and gave me some unforgettable views along the way.
