Dear Lord, now I see who you are. You’re Jesus Christ, a bright morning star. You step down from heaven to walk these streets of pain. You gave your life so I can live again. On that cross you bore my shame. Every nail was calling my name. But love held you close till the work was done and the grave couldn’t keep God’s risen son. Dear Lord, my savior, my

❤❤ More commonly known as the Gaudi Cathedral (but it’s not a cathedral, it’s a church), this is the most visited place in Barcelona
❤Construction has been ongoing for more than 130 years, and the surreal structure, with its rainbow-hued stained glass windows,
❤ The Sagrada Família is one of the most iconic and extraordinary buildings in the world—a massive, unfinished basilica located in Barcelona, Spain.
❤ Officially known as the Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família, it was designed by the visionary Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí, who devoted the last 15 years of his life almost exclusively to the project.
❤ Construction began in 1882 and continues to this day, funded entirely by private donations and visitor entry fees
❤❤❤❤❤❤ Gaudí took over the project in 1883 and completely transformed its design into his unique, organic style, combining Gothic and Art Nouveau elements with deeply symbolic Christian themes.
❤ It features 18 towers, each representing a biblical figure—12 for the Apostles, 4 for the Evangelists, 1 for the Virgin Mary, and the tallest for Jesus Christ. Once completed, the tallest tower will make it the tallest church building in the world.
🎉 The interior is a forest of light and color, with tree-like columns and stained glass that create a mystical atmosphere.
Despite being unfinished, it was consecrated by Pope Benedict XVI in 2010 and declared a minor basilica.❤
❤ Today, the Sagrada Família is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and draws millions of visitors each year. It’s considered one of the most ambitious architectural works in history
