Beauty and enchantment ✨✨

✈️ Most people fly to Mallorca and never leave the coast. This is what they’re skipping. 🏔️🏰

🚘 We rented a car specifically to get into the Tramuntana mountains, and Valldemossa was the first stop. The drive from Palma takes about 40 minutes, and the scenery on the way up is genuinely half the reason to make the trip. 😍

1️⃣ First priority: Pastisseria Ca’n Molinas for a Coca de Patata. It’s a potato pastry specific to this area, it costs almost nothing, and eating one in the cobblestone square before the tour buses arrive is as close to a local morning as you’re going to get. 🥐

📸 For photos, skip the main pedestrian street entirely. The lanes directly behind the Cartoixa de Valldemossa give you the same architecture, better light, and no one in your frame. The difference is significant. 🖼️

⌚ Timing: get there before 9am. The lanes are quiet, the stone is still wet, and you’ll have the village to yourself before it becomes a very different experience by mid-morning. ☀️

📌 Save this for your Mallorca planning. What else should I add to the Tramuntana itinerary? 👇🏼
