The Palacio Real de Madrid with over three thousand rooms, is actually the largest functioning royal palace in all of Europe. We’re talking sheer, jaw-dropping luxury and history around every single corner.

And directly across the courtyard stands the Almudena Cathedral—a stunning mix of classic architecture and surprisingly bright, modern pop-art interiors that you just have to see to believe.

Today, we’re taking you inside both of these absolute masterpieces for a day of spectacular art, towering architecture, and a glimpse into how Spanish kings and queens truly lived. Richard and Virginia are inviting you to join us as we tour the world.
Over the past 5 years we have been to 45 States on our 40 Foot Motor Coach and we are now transitioning to cruising and land travel We promise to be entertaining and funny (and not so funny sometimes). We are sure there will be some surprises and missteps!

In 2024 we were on a month long cruise to South America. In 2025, we started off with a FIVE MONTH World Cruise and will then spend 6 weeks in Southern Italy, Sicily and the Galapagos Islands. Then a 3 weeks cruise to thee Antartica. Followed by a World cruise of 4 months long, early in 2026 to the South Pacific islands, New Zealand, Australia, India and the Red Sea, Petra Jordan, Eqypt and ending in Israel .
