    Formentera Vlog – A Day Trip From Ibiza

    Welcome to this Formentera vlog, the third vlog in our Ibiza series of vlogs.

    Formentera is the smallest and most southerly island of the Pityusic Islands group which belongs to the Balearic Islands and is easily accessible by boat from Ibiza Town and takes approximately 30 minutes.

    In this Formentera vlog, we take the 30 minute boat trip from Ibiza Town (which is mentioned in our recent Ibiza Town Vlog) and board a coach, which takes us on a journey around the beautiful island of Formentera.

    This Formentera vlog starts off by taking us to the El Mirador viewpoint. It’s a great place to get a stunning view of Formentera.

    The famous La Mola Lighthouse and Cliff is next on the itinerary, visit the museum and spot some famous Ibiza Wall Lizards.

    A stop on San Francisco is next, where we take in the sights of the beautiful small town, before getting some lunch at a near by restaurant.

    The highlight for us on our trip of Formentera was our next stop, the beautiful beach of Es Pujols. Of course we found a beautiful small beach bar and enjoyed some relaxing time watching the waves, supping a cold Estrella beer.

    More beaches next, passing the famous Salines D’en Marroig on the way, we stop at Platja D’Illetes, oh, and another beer stop.

    A quick walk further on to Platja De Ses Illetes and then back to the bus to the port, where we got back on the boat and headed back to Ibiza Town.

    This was an amazing day, especially as we had never been to Formentera before and we really hope you enjoy this vlog of our day.

    As always, we sum up the day at the end with a well deserved drink from our balcony.

      "The cast of cocoon" ah guys that cracked us up🤣🤣. The irony is however, only those of us of a certain age will get that joke🤣🙈. Well, in the end they looked like a lovely bunch, especially the Italians😊👍. Formentera looked like a total chill out island 🏝. While we think we would find it a little too relaxed for our liking, those fabulous beaches were definitely worth exploring for the day though, just gorgeous 😍 ⛱️. Such a shame you didn't take your swimming gear, we wanted to step through the telly and dive in when we saw those turquoise waters 🤗. But then you did find that beach bar, now that is right up our alley, special holiday memory made right there🍻. Loving the ibiza series guys, can't wait to see where you get to next🤩.

      Groups of Italians on holidays are always good fun! I took a friend from Australia (on their first trip to Italy) on a boat trip down the Adriatic coast, the boat left at 9am by 9.30am the extended family (grandpa, parents, children, cousins, aunts, uncles, random strangers!) had cracked open the damigiana ( I think it's called a demijohn in English, the huge bottle, like a small barrel) of red wine and it was drinks all round! For a snack they had also brought along a complete wheel of cheese, a huge one. We had a rollicking good time with them!

      Wills I am shocked, shocked to the core to find a person that doesn't like prawns!😲 They're top tier seafood, ok crabs legs are good but fiddly, but prawns are the best. Just take off the head then its not looking at you!

      Hello, my friends! Oh….the cast of Cocoon…you are so funny, guys! It was a nice tour to see Formentera from another point of view, even if the lunch for Wills wasn't the best! But luckily Luigi was there!hahahah

      As an 'older' traveler 😂, just thought I'd say, we can be fun to be around😂😂😂😂😂! What a views, and the seafood. I have to confess 👌💖! Sublime. Still it is just as well some don't like it as there wouldn't be enough to go round otherwise. This is a gorgeous part of the world and you sure made the most of the opportunities to see and experience this lovely place. Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed myself here. 👌🇳🇱🙋‍♀🇳🇿🌷

      The Cast of Cocoon cracked me right up! Nice find on the Vinyl! The food looked great! Glad Wills found a convenient Italian to dispose of the unwanted morsels. The beach was beautiful!
